 | Q. What file formats can I send you for slide imaging?
A. We can accept many file formats from PC and Mac.
Some popular native file formats are:
CorelDraw, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat (pdf), EPS,
Bitmaps: TIF, TGA, GIF, BMP, etc.
Work-in-progress: PowerPoint, MS Word, Word Perfect, ASCII
|
 | Q. How should I set my page layout?
A. Our page size is 11" x 7.33" or 1.5 to 1 aspect ratio.
It is important to leave some safe margin (about 1/4")
for text & graphics so they are not covered by the
slide mount.
|
 | Q. What are best colors to use?
A. We recommend a dark background for 35mm slides with
bright text and graphics. Dark blue is very popular
and many colors work well on blue: yellow, white, cyan,
magenta. Many programs have fine templates to get you
started.
|
 | Q. Can you help me finish a presentation I started?
A. Yes. We can take "work-in-progress" from many formats
and help you "beautify" the slides getting them ready
in time for that important presentation.
|
 | Q. Can you take files from Windows?
A. Yes. We ask that they be saved as follows
 | PowerPoint:
If you have any non-standard fonts use embed TrueType Fonts in the
File/Save As/ Option.
|
 | You may set the page layout to 35mm slides
|
 | CorelDraw: Save as version 9.0 or lower.
|
 | Please call with other formats.
|
|
 | Q. When will my slides be ready?
A. Standard imaging turn around is next business day.
Slides are ready for pick-up or shipping about 1:30pm |
